in 1881 I have found Mathias Cooper,wid, hawker b Cheltenham, Glos with his son, Alfred (hawker, 21, b epsom Surrey), they are with a Smith family(John and Caroline + kids) ..next door to them another Smith Family ...Caleb and Charity and kids. They are in Brighton.

yes youve got the right families there debs.we do have those.theres quite a story to why whakodolll is called that name!!!!just look at the travellers names that are involved with this lot?its no wonder we have got confused trying to work out all the family connections.i really hope some of the other researchers into this family come on board tonight else we are not going to be able to go much further its a pig of a hunt isnt it?the brazils come into somewhere aswell.i will contact some of them again and tell them to stop christmas shopping and come on board here quickly.

so when she married joshua cooper and had a son and called him william it may have been called after her brother william!umm nice one!thanks
