I have found an Athalon? Taylor aged 43 Licensed hawker b NK lodging with a John Goulson also Lic. hawker in Middlesex ...down the'road' is Christopher Taylor, 50 hawker of fruit and his family. (err hawker of fruit not his family LOL!!)

just realised with your last post that this may be Athelia's brother Christopher!!!!!

it also looks like joshua was born 1842 and was 20 years younger than his brother plato so maybe he will be with his perants matthias and eliza in the 1851 cencus?

Whats the chance of being born a Taylor, and meeting someone
with the same surname, I surpose it must happen
I have Jabez with 2 Sisters, Selina and Isobel
Still no Birth Certs can be found

yes we are getting there.by this time smith and taylor had had a big big fallout.so the selinia and jabez who are both really smiths are using their mothers maiden name!!!!!
so athelia had william with joshua cooper
athelia had at least selinia and jabez with sam unless because sams first wife has died she has them as step daughters?
priscilla smith and sam smith can we find them and find out which kids are sames that might now be living with atherlia.
and dont forget her bird grandson?thatt means another daughter married the bird man dosnt it?

yesterday I wrote this;
in the 1881 where we have Reuben and Abigail (Horn) BIRD living in tents in Mitcham Suirrey we have reuben's son Henry b Worth on the next page ...as has been said before ...BUT travelling with them is a SAMUEL SMITH, 40 b Acton Middlesex hawker  and his wife Priscilla and kids...do you think this is your sam Smith = Athelia Cooper?

I will look them up again

Athelia's  (b 1903) grandson who is from another well documented gypsy family called Bird.
But looking at his website it may well be another Bird group of families.

So the BIRD grandson, belongs to an Athelia who was b 1903?
