Have trawled the ancestry marriage indexes 1881, 1882 and 1883 and I cannot see a  LARCOMBE, Anne/Annie marriage.

I would say James was an employee of Turanville Scone...settled by the DANGAR family abt 1835.

Also, who witnessed the marriage?

Thank you all so much for your help.  I am planning a trip in a couple of weeks to photograph Annies grave at Scone and visit the Scone Historical Society to find out more about what happened to Eva.  I will also visit Turanville whilst I am there.

To date I haven't purchased Eva's marriage certificate, only her birth certificate.  I have been trying to find out as much as possible without forking out a lot of money, but I think I have come to the point where I will have to purchase this or get a transcription.

I have also arranged a trip with my mother to see Eva's daughter in January.  Somewhere along the line Eva started using Annie instead.  Mum only ever knew her as Annie.

Thanks again for all your help.  I will get a couple of transcriptions and post again when I need more help.
