Payne/Hayward marriage 1888

Could anyone help please with a look-up for my grandparent's marriage in Wandsworth in the second quarter of 1888.  His name was John Payne and her's Charlotte Eliza Hayward.
There seem to be a few John Paynes born in Milton, Kent, within a few months of each other, so it would be nice to get his father's name to save going up the wrong line

Hi,

Do you know if it was a church or register office wedding? Church registers are available to view but the register office ones are not.
 
If not it might be quicker and easier to buy a copy of the certificate.
