My ggg grandfather James Aberdein was overseer at the Logie Works spinning mill at Logie Pert for 45 years. I wondered if anyone had a photo of the mill or the houses where the workers lived. A few years ago I visited the site and found just some remains.

I have a few old postcards of Craigo Mill, but probably not the same mill.

Hi ferrydener,
We didn't get the pictures of Logie Mill as it was the Logie Mill in Montrose she wanted it wasn't the Logie Jute mill in Dundee she was looking for after all.
What and where was Craigo Mill then?.

The Village of Craigo is a few miles North of Montrose on the Marykirk Road. Its actually next to Logie Pert.

Hi again ferrydener,
