Cornelius Glenn DEWAR
« on: Sunday 30 November 08 16:20 GMT (UK) »
Is anyone going to Cornwall Record Office who could look up a Parish Register for Cornelius Glenn Dewar, please.

He was born Devonport in 1819 but I think he probably died in Millbrook/Maker before 1837.
I've searched the Stoke Damerell Plymouth records to no avail but I know the family were living in Wear Millbrook in 1841 so he could have died there.
Many thanks

Hi, I am not planning a trip to Truro in the near future but might be able to check the graveyard for you to see if there is a tombstone.  I am not too far away and when the weather gets a bit warmer, I could do that.  Are you far away yourself?

Hi

Thanks for the offer but we live quite near to Millbrook and have checked both Millbrook and Maker graveyards.  I think I'll have to plan a trip to Truro and look in the Parish Registers.

thanks anyway
