Hi
I am searching for information about my Fathers family:

GGfather James Taylor Married Rachel Henderson in Myroe Presbyterian Church in the Parish of Tamlaght Finlagen on 08/5/1862.

Grandfather David Taylor Married Elizabeth Hunter in Myroe Presbyterian Church in the Parish of Tamlaght Finlagen on 21/11/1895.

Grandfathers brother Robert James Taylor Married Margaret Simpson in Myroe Presbyterian Church in the Parish of Tamlaght Finlagen on 22/06/1899.

My grandfather David Taylor moved to Glasgow some time between 1895 and 1900. He moved to Govan Glasgow where my father William Taylor was born. David was a shoemaker journeyman and I believe he was born in Drumachose in 1872. I believe some of his brother went to Glasgow but later returned to Londonderry.

I would be very grateful if anyone has any knowledge of the family or of existing relatives.

James Taylor and Rachel Henderson had at least 5 children (see IGI at www.familysearch.org for more detail): William James (born 1865), William James (born 1868), Joseph (born 1871), David (born 1873), Robert James (born 1877).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

found james & rachaels marriage the date is different from the one you have, 24-4-1862 and his fathers name is robert,no fathers name for rachael, i found this marriage it maybe james parents.

Thanks a lot for that, I think from something my sister said some time back William may have been in Scotland at some time with David. I visited Limavady last year and did manage to get some information, but I would like to think I might have some cousins still in the area. that would be great!!
