Byron Watson, husband of Alice Watson may be listed in the Social Security Death Index  with 1969 year of death and year of birth as 1911 (his marriage license lists birth as 1909)

I think this is the right person because Alice Watson's Social Security number was issued in 1969, probably because she began collecting survivor benefits.

Also available from the above site is obit  for James Critchley, brother of Louisa Gregory. James Critchley, age 66, died June 9, 1953.
