The Gregory family

Good evening to all,

Hope some one can assist me, I've just found outthat some ancestors from my wife's side emigrated to the US.

I've been on the Ellis Island site and 'found them' on the documents from the site it looks like James William, Louisa, and children Alice and William are going to somewhere that looks like Jerre Hause Ind.

I'm assuming the 'Ind' equate to Indiana, if it does I can't find a Jerre Hause!

Any clues gratefully received.

The children Alice (age 20 now) and William (age 16) are not living with their parents.  Alice may very well be married but William is only 16 years old.  I wonder where he is.

This website also has an obituary entry for James William Gregory, age 73, dated 26 Jun 1953 although there was another one for a James Gregory, age 77 dated 3 Mar 1960 but it doesn't fit as well with the other information Shelly provided.
