Yes, there is a church and large g/yard areas....

Don't forget there may be one n or 2 also variants in spellings!!

Are the Tydavnet Parish records kept at a local library or anywhere and are they available to search do you know?

If I can find out enough about where to look, it might be worth a flight over.

Am not sure of where RC records are/would be, sorry. I'd say PRONI but others may know different!

Some R/C records are kept at the Proni. Put up the site.
    Public Records of Northern Ireland. You could also ring the Proni and ask they are very helpful.

PRONI closed for annual stocktaking at the moment but check their wensite for details.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I know Scotstown having stayed there a couple of years ago and when the locals say Town its pronounced Toin so maybe person transcribing heard it that way or maybe Im just talking rubbish lol
anyway its just a suggestion
