looking for information regarding the above. He was an inmate in a glasgow prison in 1883.

john kilpatrick was born in ireland in 1845 and came to glasgow scotland in about 1880 he had a child in 1883 to sarah barrett  (mcdowall ) out of wedlock she was a widow she died in 1889 he took his child  (a daughter ) and married a jane young  he died in 1927 and she died in 1945 the daughter's name was maggie kilpatrick
