Hi, When did your relatives live at Alfred St and Annie St,-how long ago?. Some houses were demolished in Annie St and there are quite new ones there. It is a smashing little street with the cleanest flagstones in Ramsbottom, all bleached . They are the original York Stone ones.I used to work at the school on Geoffrey St. I`ll try my best to get a photo but must admit to being a real geek and do not know how to send photos !!!!!!!.I will have to ask my son!One side of Annie St. is still in existence but the other side is where the new (10+years)houses are.I wonder why you thought it was Bear Alfred St..Could it have been back Alfred St? There were some back-to-back houses there, the ones that had no back door because they were joined to the house behind so had only one entrance but when the housing act came into force the dividing wall was opened and a door put in and two tiny houses became one larger one so what had been the front and only door of one became the back second door of the now larger house which now housed only one family where before there had been two. Are you still with me ?Have another look. Viktoria
