Any eyeball doctors out there?
« on: Sunday 23 November 08 01:31 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone,

Is there any hope of restoring this photograph?  Someone has done a bit of "artwork" to the eyes of Ann Sarah Trinder and her children - bless them!

I have a slightly higher quality version if it is of any use, which I can send off list.

I love the expression on Emma Matilda's face (the little one in front, holding on for dear life).

It's not a good photo, I know, so any attempt to improve would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jo

Victoria,

Please excuse me, but I didn't receive notification of your response, I only received your first response that you sent and that the file was too big.

Pardon me!

Thank you for taking the time indeed!.

Jo

Jo,

When I posted the first one, it came out heaps smaller. It turned out the photo you had already posted is larger than the one you actually sent to my email. I did the restore with the original photo instead, as it gives you a much better size/quality than the smaller one I originally posted. The reason you didn't recieve a second response, was because I used my original posting, and edited it rather than post a new one.

Hi Victoria,

I am so sorry, despite all good intentions, the e-mail I sent had an in-place setting to make sure that files aren't too large.  Sorry.  Is it too late to send again?

Jo
