Can anyone give me any information on Paris Street Manchester. This is listed on my gg grandmothers birth certificate and can find no information regarding. Would appreciate any help- it may help me with some more avenues to follow.
Many thanks

Hi bindymac
have you any idea of the area apart from manchester?
I have found a Paris Ave in Orsall, Salford I do not know how old it is. Here is a multimap link
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=53.4701&lon=-2.28&scale=5000&icon=x
Also found Parisian Way in Moss Side, I am not sure even if it is still there, Moss Side has seen major rebuilding work over the last few years (no multimap link)
Sorry I cannot be more helpful

I can't find a Paris St on my 1900 Manchester/Salford map. (Though it could be too small to show or in an outlying suburb)
Byers (Salford & London)
Stringfellow (Salford & Chorley)
Holmes (Manchester & Birmingham)
Goulding/Golden (Birmingham & Lincolnshire)
Bassett (Manchester & Salford, Staffordshire)
Child (Lincolnshire)
Belshaw (Salford)
Hallsworth (Eccles & Salford)
Vernon (Bury & Chapel en le Frith)
