Charles Gordon Donaldson

Looking for Charles Gordon Donaldson, he survived WW1, was discharged in 1919, and then disappears without trace. He was born on Merseyside in the latter 1880s.
He had two sisters - Dorothy Louisa and Alice. Dorothy was my grandmother.
This is my mega brick wall and I would appreciate any info on him please

Hi Annamac

I would consider starting a new thread in the Armed Forces site to get an opinion about the date of the photograph. He looks to be in the RAF, and I am no expert on them, but that style of cap was not introduced into the army until well into the 1920s. If he was serving after 1920 his papers will be with the MOD. Although to apply you will have to provide a copy of his death certificate.
