Greenock lookup request

I'm trying to find any information on James Letson & Agnes Campbell, married October 1927.
Agnes had a son Ronald Campbell Letson born 10-07-1936, she gave him up for adoption (James wasn't the father)
The address she gave when she had Ronald was - 14 Cross Shore Street Greenock.
I would like to know if there were any other children & if she was still with her Husband (James) also, I was told there was a unmarried mothers home in this street, is there anyone who can check if number 14 was the home or a normal house please?

have you tried contacting the Watt library ref to the unmarried mothers home -  they are very  helpful

I have been in touch with them but they said they couldn't find anyone with those names there?
