Hi

Have you checked freebmd for a Breakingbury marriage and then checked for spouse name Elizabeth?  or checked freebmd for a Breakingbury death in Hampshire just before 1881?

Alternatively, if there is more than one possibility on freebmd  - you could check freebmd for the birth of one of the children and get a copy of the birth cert

1881 has Elizabeth b Wiltshire, John T b Devon, Fred b Herts and James b Andover so the marriage could have been in Wiltshire or Devon/Dorset

The surname is one that's ripe for mis-transcription so I would be inclined to get a birth cert as there are several "Brakenbury" entries on freebmd

hi woody
if Walter died between 1879 and 1881, he might be the one I'm looking for Wayne

If you check freebmd - there is no death for a Walter Russell Brackenbury in Hampshire from 1878-1881

You need the birth cert as there are all kinds of possibilities with that surname and until you find Elizabeth's maiden name it will be impossible to match the marriage
