Mmm. doesn'tquite add up - Grandad wasaminer all his working life, but it is possible that your Grandad was a nephew of my Grandad. In which case, your Grandad was a cousinof my Mum. That would make your Grandad around 80 to 90?

Hiss wife was Salome Nellie Conna (nee Aldersey) - known as Nellie.  She died in 1974 - if she were alive still she would be 110 (nearly 11).

Unfortunately, neither my Grandad or Grandma or any of their children are alive now.

My Mum would have been 81 this year if she were still alive and she was the youngest.

Which means if we are related it would be by your Grandad being my Grandad's nephew I think.

My Uncle was John Alexander Connah - known as Alec - who did live in Skegby until he died a few years ago (aged 79)

There are so many coincidences here, it has to be the same family
