I was interested to pursue Sarah Rendall, the sister of Keziah Streeter, nee Rendall, because she witnessed the wedding on March 24 1837. I found a marriage for a Sarah Rendell to William Amos in 1843, certificate Canterbury 5 83 1843(March); luckily there was one tree on Ancestry, viz. "The Big Kent Tree" which had William Amos, and that simplified my search, but the link to Keziah was not on it. So William and Mary had two children:- William Randall Amos (1845) and Catherine Ann Amos (1846), but in the 1851 census they were being looked after by their aunt Frances Jordan, the sister of William. Neither Sarah nor William Sr. are in the 1851 census, though a William Amos aged 59 (should be 39) was lodging in Canterbury, a widower, so Sarah had probably died, but there is no certificate (and I tried a general scan of all death certificates in Canterbury from 1846 to 1851). William Amos appears again in 1861 re-married to Eliza Cullen, nee Ansley (1821-1870) with her child Sarah Ann Cullen (1850).
For the children they are in the 1861 census, and William is next door to his adoptive parents; Catherine is a domestic nearby. After that William may have moved to Minster, Thanet, and stayed a bachelor, dieing in 1906, but he never used the "Randall" again, making identification dicey. Catherine Ann disappears from the record, and is not on any tree on Ancestry, so I'm stuck. Did she go to New Zealand ??
At least we have a scenario for Keziah's sister; I have ordered Sarah's marriage certificate to confirm her father.

David.
