Poll

We missed you so much and Mr Poll Doll and Mr & Mrs Pels too. How does York sound ? Not Midlands but closeish?

Ann

Val mentioned York this morning.  I'd be up for that.   A wee bit earlier in the year might be good - chance of a wee bit warmer weather.

A day at the races?  Yorkminster on the Sunday?

A Day at races sounds good. I'm not a betting person but having been York races before is a good day out - even I have been known to bet on occasion! ( and that day at York I did not bad lol - I knew I should just go by names I liked)- the betting fratnernity will send the men in white coats out now

Mainey

It was superb Mainey.  Being a Glaswegian, I'm obviously biased but Glasgow is an amazing city if you like Victorian architecture.  In fact, it's an amazing city in general.  Does not deserve the bad reputation that is attached to it a lot of the time.  Have you ever been over?
