1841/51/61/71 Thornhaugh Look Up Please

I hope this is the correct area for Thornhaugh.

I'm trying to trace the BAXTER family from Thornhaugh.

I have the latest census information.

I would like the earlier information if someone has it.

Here is the family in 1881

There are several other Baxter families in this town which may or may not be related. Might be worth ordering the film from the local LDS family history centre if you're looking further afield. Or try Lincolnshire archives if you're not too far away.
No other Charles's of the right age though.

I could really do with finding out the two earlier census as this would hopefully give me a father to Charles.

Thornhaugh, comes under the returns for Northamptonshire, you might get a better response if you put a posting on that board.

Another board I tried told me to try Lincolnshire and Cambridge.

for the 1851 the reference is HO 107/2094

for the 1841 the reference is HO 107/816

for the 1871 the reference is RG 10/3310

All in Northamptonshire according to the National Archives.

Just rechecked this in view of the reply on the Northants board.

Thornhaugh is in Northants, but the returns are filied in Lincolnshire.  I am looking at the 1861 now and will post here when I have checked for you
