Sarah Limerick known as Sally lived in Inishowen,Donegal. She is on the 1857 Griffiths Valuation. She was also on my great grandfathers birth cert in 1867 and one of his brothers in 1865.
I think she was visiting her sister at the time of thhe census.
I must go on SP and print that off.
Again many thanks for your help.you made my day! ;D

buzzbyb,thanks for that also.
Ive been trying to find out about my gr gran who married John Docherty,Margarets eldest son.My gran said she was from Campsie and Ive been searching for births and marriages in Campsie. No joy. But since this census for 1861 has been put on I think that I have been following a red herring!Gran must have picked it up wrong from somewhere. It must be Campsie STREET!
I think its all coming together!

Hi,
just on SP to check that 1861 census. Its them alright but the address is Cheapside st and not Campsie st as first thought.Ten years later they were only 3 or 4 streets away in Carrick st.
Cant find them in 1851 so must have come over between 1851 and 1861.Still cant find Charles death so none the wiser about when he died

Thanks again all :)

Hi sancti,

Is that the one aged 37 in the Calton district? If so, checked that one. Unfortunately he is married to a Bethia or Bathia McClaggan. :(
