Thanks very much Gill for finding Elizabeth on the 1841 census and thanks very much to you Geoff  for finding the marriage of John Codling to Ann Emmons and so proving beyond all doubt that Samuel's wife Elizabeth did not die in 1836!  I really appreciate all the help you both have given me.

There are lots of Worsdall burials at Carlton le Moorland. Have you checked out Lincs to the Past? Just put place name and register - baptism, marriage ,burial, in the search box. It will bring up the books if they have been copied. An easy way to loose HOURS......
