Charles Phillippo - born Nov 1803

Very keen to see if I can add the parents to Charles Phillippo. Born Nov 1803 in East Rudham, Norfolk I believe. He married a Sarah Andrews in October 1822 (and finding her parents would be handy too).

It seems this surname is concentrated in East Anglia but is often corrupted to Phillipps, Philipps, Philips etc.

Any info would be gratefully received.

On the WEST RUDHAM baptism registers there is an entry for:
CHARLES PHILLIPPO on 22nd November 1801.
 The details are only basic but this could be your Charles.
ALSO
at WEST RUDHAM there is a marriage for:
CHARLES PHILLIPPO and PHOEBE DANN on 15th January 1799
This seems to be the parents of Charlotte posted by stannarp
ALSO in the EAST RUDHAM registers there is a marriage for
CHARLES PHILLIPPO and SARAH ANDREWS on 14th October 1822

I have just come across your query. I have Phillippo ancestors via William, brother of Charles. I took a trip to Norwich to search the fiches and had Charles as baptised 18th October 1801.

Have you progressed any further?

Yes, I have made some good progress.

Charles Phillippo (1803-1871) - I have had very good luck with Charles'  wife Sarah Andrews but I won't post here as it's not directly relevant.

His parents were Charles Phillippo (1773-1853) & Phoebe Dann (1779-1832)

Charles Phillippo (snr) parents were John Phillippo (~1735-1874) & Ann Spooner (no dates...yet...)

Am struggling on getting any further with Phoebe Dann's line.

I have my line on ancestry.co.uk - and can share if you wish.

Keen to know what info your visit may have turned up and hopefully it ties in with above.

And re-reading your message I noticed your baptism date for Charles. Takes my date a good two back. Very interesting
