for Emma Cam--b. leicester 1850-1851
possibly an orphan living with a family with a different surname.

Only 2 people with the surname Cam on the 1861 Leicestershire & City Index, neither of which is your Emma.

Of course if she is living with an adopted family it's possible she would be known with a different surname!

I guess I have to look at all Emmas b. in 1850 Leicester St. Margaret's. In 1869--her marriage--- she was in Friars' Lane.
