So far I can find a Janet Powell arriving on the Parisian April 5, 1891 but she is younger than yours - only 14 or 16. She is travelling with a large group of girls to Niagara Lincoln Co. via Toronto. Do you know if your Jane was simply Jane or Mary Jane, Elizabeth Jane - sometimes people used their first name for a few years and then changed to something else.
Where is your William Thomas in 1891 as I can't see him. It might give a clue to Jane.
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~abwcobit/index.htmPerhaps you will find something useful from this resource. In the Lethbridge paper there is a small notice about William T's death in 1938.
Found Wm Thos Corley, shoemaker and wife Anna M. and children in Toronto St John's Ward in 1881
and also your ancestry tree. His son Frank Corley is lodging in Irvine, Medicine Hat district Alberta in 1911 and is N.W.M.P. Collections Canada has his file online if you're interested.
Son Richard b. 1883 Ontario in 1911 is in Humboldt Saskatchewan with his family. He married Nellie Wild 13/11/1901 Carman Manitoba and children Harold Banfield (26/10/1902) and Clarence Vernon (20/02/1904) were born there. Lyda M. was born 4/11/1905 Melfort Sask and William Kenneth was born 30/1/1908 Silver Park Sask. Merrel E. was 1 on the 1911 census. Looking at Richard's family also brought up the birth of a Doris Corby 26 April 1908 at Resource Saskatchewan with parents of Maggie Kobliuk and William Thomas Corby.

Your family tree had a second wife for William Thomas of Eliza Jane McCann. William Thomas married Eliza Jane Durham 22 Sept 1886 at Niagara Falls. They were both widowers and her parents were Hugh McCann and Nancy A. On the 1911 census for Niagara Falls there is a Elisabeth Corby b. Oct 1840, widowed. There is also a death for Eliza J. Corby at 75 years on Feb 21, 1915 at Niagara Falls. She is shown as married and the daughter of Hugh McCann and Agnes Reid.
