Hello,
I have an ancestor born at MARVEL or MAROEL in Shropshire. Can anyone tell me this place exists, or did exist, and where it is please? I cannot find it anywhere.

There's a place called Morville, near Bridgnorth, could it be that?

In the Parish Registers of Ford is an entry which gives two spellings.

22 May 1704 Dorothy Powel, otherways James, of the p. of Marvel [Morville] bur.
