Plotting my family tree on a map
«

I 've been trying to plot the migration of my ancestors on a map so I can see how they have travelled over the years.
Is there any software that would work with PAF that would take some of the leg work out of doing this?
Thanks in advance.

I've written a little program that will do exactly this.
You will need to export your tree to a GEDCOM file and then it will read it in, geocode all the places and plot them on Google Earth. Because it is viewable in Google Earth and also Google Maps it is easy to share your tree and even publish interactive maps on a web page if you want. You can even upload them to a a GPS or SatNav now!
The program is called Map My Ancestors and you can download it from -

Hope this is useful to you.
