Need Advice on connecting HEDGES brothers #1

Good morning

On the hunt for the elusive Hedges brothers again LOL

I went back to the 1841 census to see if there were any Hedges living in Yalding...

1841 we have a Mary Hedges 15, b 1826 living as a F S on a farm at Fox Pitts, Yalding.

then I found this by looking for Hedges in Maidstone;

Kent County prisons , Maidstone
WILLIAM HEDGES 65 seat bottomer b 1776
JOSEPH HEDGES 20 seat Bottomer b 1821

could this be their dad and another brother ??

It does , doesn't it ...I am very excited about the 'find' ... tried to follow up with both of them ...to no avail 

I wonder if we can find William b c 1776, his death ....we might find who registered it.

Also , Yalding was where William Hedges married ...I wonder who Mary Hedges belongs to... she is the only Hedges in that area in 1841. I have no no luck with her either. I did find a baptism on IGI but for a Mary Ann Hedges b East malling , I think ...

Oh wow deb that is excellent. What a find. I cant believe you found him. This really is getting very exciting. I'm set for another evening of hunting. Can I ask where you found that.

Deb have another look at the records only check under Hodges I think there is another one. I remember my Cousin Peter Hedges went to Maidstone archives office recently and mentioned this to me and I'm sure there are 3 HEDGES/HODGES.

    James and Eliza b 1816 and 7 children    RG09 / 808 / 37 / 20

That looks like my James and Eliza in Hertfordshire. Could you get more info/ details. Children's names ages etc. That would be a great help. As much detail as poss. Going to have a look to see where Heartfordshire is, my they did get about didn't they.
