Yes thats a thought need to look for christenings for them. Thank you so much Deb for your help in this you really have been a diamond. It really is hard to keep focused on where I need to go with all this and you have helped so much it really is very much appreciated.
I have just sent for baby Thomas Hedges birth Cert. so should soon be able to prove whether Eliza was a JENNINGS. If she was the two brothers James and William both married JENNINGs sisters.

As mentioned in an earlier post my cousin Peter Hedges is sending me copies of the 3 death certificates from Malling Kent.
I think the Hedges family were camped there and were struck down with Typhus
killing 3 of them. One of them was a Susan aged 80 (I think thats what he said) this would make her born about 1774. I have to ask could she be mother to the 4 brothers. Is it worth me looking for a William HEDGES (Remember Job's father was a William) married to a Susan. Just thinking aloud here.

Throwing this in to the mix.
I have my Job HEDGES as being born in Windsor Eton Bucks according to the census.
Which I thought a little odd as it is quite a way from the birth places of the other brothers. Thinking about Susan 1774 and searching for the 4 brothers with a mother Susan I find this on the IGI but the dates don't work out, to early. but look at the place. How confusing is this.

Casalguidi

I have been working from Casalguidi's info ...unfortuantely Thomas is not listed with them in 1861 and I am still unable to find them in 1851...as a matter of fact , I don't think we have many Hedges on the 1851....

Maybe we should summarise where everyone is during the different censuses ... 

The only Susan* Hedges I can find bc 1774 is still alive at the age of 87..she was born Wiltshire arrghhhhhhh tearing my hair out !!!

I don't think we should worry to much about Susan at the moment if nothing obvious has turned up. I will see what the death Cert says when it arrives next week. I do believe Eliza HEDGES was present at her death Eliza is wife to James HEDGES 1815 So I would have thought she was a Mother or perhaps Grandmother.
I'm going to hunt for any christenings for Thomas's children.
