Due to having the wrong John Tickner before, my link to my tree was lost.
However, after much work, I have found a link again, so everything is working out nicely.
It's thanks to that Tickner website, plus another website that I frequently use with lots of Surrey families on, that have I have made a fresh link.
Just to quickly iterate:
I'm kind of distantly linked to the Daborn family of Horsell and Chobham, Surrey. One of the family, a Henry Daborn, married a Caroline Smith. Her sisters Hannah and Martha both married into the Stevens family of Horsell. A daughter of James Stevens and Martha Smith (Kitty Stevens) married Henry Shepherd. Henry Shepherd's sister Jane Shepherd married a William Tickner, of Shere. This William Tickner is related to the John Tickner who married Eden Hedges.
Yep, it's a small world.
