Further information here.  today I went to St Mary's Churchyard in LLanfair PG and found to the left of the path in front of the church the grave of Margaret and william.  Buried with them was Ellen.  The inscription reads;
Margaret, wife of William Black of this parish who died October 2nd 1878 aged 27 years;  also William Black beloved husband of the above who died February 21 1928, aged 77.
and on a tiny secondary stone set under the original
er cof am Elin, merch John Jones Pig Y Rhos, bu farw Gor-7-1939 29 oed

We aren't sure of the date of the year for Ellen, it could be 1839 0r 1859 because it is difficult to read.

I don't know where his second wife is buried - I couldn't find a grave for her.

Lovely to see pictures of th Blacks,unfortunatley my research has ground to a halt over recent months a combination of work pressure, family and a total failure of my PC!! I am hoping to get all the software and back ups finally installed on the new PC this week and get going again.

Aunty Ellen who was the daughter of John Black sadly died in May of this year in hospital in Canada with her daughter at her side at the age of 100

Do you have any photos of your side of the blacks to share?
