Thanks  Abiam you are a legend.

Its  a pretty good match. On several docs he does give his occupation as a 'Labourer'.

Much appreciated Troods

I know my British grandparents, Elizabeth (b.1862) and William Hills (b.1860) returned to the UK between 20 June 1891, when their dau. Elizabeth was born in the USA, and 2 Oct.1892 when their son was born in London.

I've tried full names, initials and just surname to no avail.

If anyone has any further suggestions I'd be very grateful.

Hi dollylee,

Many thanks for the info on my Grandfather Tom Sanders. It all fits as Stanley's middle name was Walter! Many, many thanks.

I'm looking for my grandmother in the same time frame 1890-1892 and can't find her so I'm wondering if maybe some of the records from that time period may not be there  :-\

Does anyone know why these dates are being used?[1878 - 1960]
Are there any plans for earlier or later batches to be put on line?

I don't want to appear ungrateful, I was just wondering 8)
