I have the marriage entry from ERO showing John Goult of Burnham (an illiterate labourer) married Maria Jennings of Althorne at Althorne on 4th November 1818.
I know all about Maria (and her ancestors) and the couple's children, but nothing else about John (can't find him on any census or BMD or IGI).
The family lived in Norton, Suffolk (most of the children were born there, & on 1841 census (no John)) then most of them moved to London (1851 census, no John).
I'm guessing that he moved to London and died there 1842-1851.
Can anybody help with birth, death, ancestors, anything?
