Well since you are offering;
The parents of Samuel Charles and Percy - John Owen Foreman and his wife Susannah - you have shown to go out with Percy on the SS Bergenland in 1900 from Liverpool to Philadelphia and supposedly on to Cleveland. I have searched what I can in Cuyahoga county but cant find them. Any ideas? Thanks

Are they the ones in 1881 in Garston, Lancs? If so, by 1900 they weren't young'uns, were they? Maybe they didn't survive much longer after their trip.

Yes I thought that, they were 64. But why bother going if you didnt feel up to it - its a bit further than the Mersey ferry goes!

I know. I wonder about that. I had some rather elderly (for the times) relatives who made the trip also and I have often wondered what made them go. Very scary, and courageous.
