Thanks for the reply.  My Great Great Grandfather was John Dodd and my Great Grandfather was Sidney Herbert Dodd who I believe was related to your grandfather. 

I would be grateful if you could forward me a personal message providing me with your email address as I am having difficulty in working out how to do so myself.   This way we can communicate without it being broadcast.

My name is John Dodd and John Dodd of The Police Station (210) Market Street Tunstall Staffordshire is my Great Granfather. I have two portrait photographs of John Dodd and Elizabeth Dodd. They also lived at number 28 Sivlerdale Keele where he was also an inspector of police (1881 census)

Hi  I am related albeit distant.  Fredk Campbell married Alice Lawrence 1912- Enfield, I'm from Lawrence side.  Been looking for this couple. 

Do you know much about Fredk- I  know he was a Clerk to Guardians hence interest.

hI katie  John Dodd is my husbands great grandfather his grandmother was Florence Dodd who was Sidney's older sister and the only girl.  She married Percy Powell Beech, and had three children. We know that Sidney;s son was a solicitor was Sidney?

Do you have any information on John Dodd and his family you could share with me? My son in law is directly descended from John Dodd his grandfather was Leslie Dodd son of Sidney Herbert Dodd

I've just spotted this chat.  I see that it hasn't been active here for a few years now.  I have a very good photo of the 1937 Endon & Stanley Coronation Committee, which I believe may include Rosa Dodd, wife of Sidney Herbert Dodd.  I'd be interested to discuss this further, please.
