Moreton family of Cheshire
« on: Tuesday 14 October 08 13:04 BST (UK) »
Hello all
after a bit of a hiatus of researching my tree I'm back into it.  I'm looking for Moreton links in Liverpool, Minshull Vernon, Great Budworth particulalry as my line seems to go directly to that area.

So if anyone is looking for Moretons in similar areas, I am willing to share info etc.

Best wishes,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

I'm connected to this Moreton line through the marriage of Ann Beckett and William Robinson in 1773.  I have another connection through the same line through the marriage of Nancy nee Robinson's daughter Ann Moreton to Samuel Moss in 1841.  My great uncle was James Arthur Moreton who farmed at Pickmere.

Have we been in touch before?

Jean
