I have just come across the correspondence about the Gibsons.

My ggggm was Margaret Steel Gibson of the Gibson of Hillhead family.  I knew the Gibson had been owners of a great deal of land in Hillhead, Glasgow and that one of their ancestors was Provost alter Gibson. I would love any links to fill my gap.
