Hi
 I am trying to tace my Naylor's who lived in Whitechapel. MY John born 1790 was a Farrier and i am trying to find out what life would have been like for him doing this occupation  in those days up to 1858. his parents where Alexander Naylor and Sarah Brown , possible  that alexander was a Farrier as well

John 61 Farrier born Whitechapel
Bethulia 61 Wife Chatham
Mary 28 Dau Whitechapel
Mary Freshwater 55 vis. Wid Deptford Kent
John Clay 16  Serv. Farriers boy born Ingatestone Essex
John & Elizabeth Boare living at same address from Cornwall.

Hi, Mary Freshwater may turn out to be related, so have found her as a lodger in Poplar in 1861 aged 68 a Fundholder  RG9300/45 Sorry writing very bad.

thanks for that, sory i haven't replyed sooner, i slipped a disc back in december and been out of action for months, on the mend now hopefully!
