My Sad Loss Aspin
« on: Thursday 09 October 08 21:11 BST (UK) »
I am so so sorry I missed the thread you had been all sending your condolence to me and my family

I found it this morning and was busy replying to you all when once more we had callers with flowers and cards
I clicked off the computer and lost my post that I had half written

We do thank all of you for your wonderful thoughts and also all the PMs i have had

You read if these happenings and think nothing of it But when it comes to your own door WELL

Alan was a lovely Lad who was a grand worker for his family and as some of you may have seen him on TV sticking out for the fishing industry
He loved his three children and wife

And John and I have loads of good memories
Like when he borrowed the car just after he passed his driving test aged about 18  then came in with about 4 mates and through the keys on the table and said he had been in the hedge and he and his mates went back out
We were sitting watching TV and I said we better have a look his Dad thought he was joking but he had been in the hedge and had a wopping bill to pay

Please forgive me for missing the thread but I am sure you will all know what we are going through as we will miss him so very much
What a waist
theres the phone again

thank you once more everyone

Dear Elizabeth

I'm so sorry, I did not realise that you had not seen the messages from all your RootsChat friends..... I should have told you where they could be found..... my sincere apologies.

I hope that knowing so many 'lovely' Rootschatters thoughts are with you and your family, at such a sad time, is of some small comfort.

As Jane has already said "all your friends are here for you".
