Burials St Annes Church, Chasetown
« on: Wednesday 08 October 08 12:27 BST (UK) »
Please could SKS check the parish register for a burial at St Annes Church, Chasetown?  I am hoping that the registers have been filmed....

I have a death certificate for William James HARRIS who died 5th Feb 1925.

On the NBI there is a burial at St Annes for a JAMES Harris 11 Feb 1925.

I can't see a GRO death entry for a James Harris in that quarter.

I wondered if the name WILLIAM had been missed off in the transcription.  William James Harris' mother, Ellen, is also buried in that churchyard along with at least four other family members.

TIA
Joan

After much research I was able to confirm that the name WILLIAM had been missed off the transcription.

I emailed BFHG and, after checking all the details, they informed me that they have amended the transcription.
