Ok. Mystery solved then - the ISBN book number you quoted refers to Edward Hay: A History of the Insurrection 1798.

Trina - i am happy to bring along your query to the talk and give it to Michael. If you want PM me the note/message and your email address and I can hand it to Michael. Michael is old school historian so not sure if he has an email or prefers to write old fashioned letters. I can't guarantee if he will reply though!!

Everytime he meets me he always says "you have the local history bug from your behan ancestors"....

He is thinking of writing another book so I am going to give him some of my old photos I have collected that night so maybe he will include them if he does a new book.

 (hopefully I get home to Gorey) for that friday night or that they don't change the date to during the week!!
