Would anyone be able to look up parishes in Hexam area for marriage of EDWARD GREEN and ELEANOR ? c1695 - 1772 many thanks

There are quite a few parishes in 'the Hexham area'. You could check out what these are on Genuki http://www.genuki.bpears.org.uk/NBL/Hexham/index.html  Marriages from the George Bell indices are available for some of them on the relevant parish pages.

You may also find that the marriage records for some of these parishes are available for you to browse through for yourself on the search labs site http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=0
Select Europe and then England, Diocese of Durham Bishops transcripts. After that you can select Northumberland and then the relevant parishes.

many thanks for info Jennifer. No luck with the George Bell transcripts and the second link gave no option for 'England' or diocese just got europe but will keep trying thank you ???

You need to click on Europe, and on the next page select 'England, Diocese of Durham Bishops Transcripts ca 1700 - 1900'.
