ooooooohhhh!!!!!!

I have found something that looks promising from the 1901  cencus.....includes father James and son Thomas......hmm lets see

James Holland - Head - age 30 - coal miner hewer - Lanc Wigan
Margaret Holland - wife - age 37
Andrew Holland - Brother - age 18
Elizabeth Holland - sister - age 29
Annie Holland - daughter - age 1
Ruth Holland - Daughter - age  3
Sarah Holland - daughter - age 10
Thomas Holland - son - age 5
William Holland - son - age 8

all at 2 colliers yard Wigan Lancashire.......

It makes sense that Elizabeth could have been named after her aunt and there's the brother thomas,... i've got a good feeling about this 1

What do u think am I just reaching lol x :)

hi again

Looks good !  I think that you are going to have to take a chance and buy a birth cert ....to see if the mum matches ...at least you have her dad's name and occ ....

I wonder if we can find some marriages for the children ...hopefully in Houghton.

Hi Jo

 ;D ;D ;D

I was meaning marriages of the children of the family you found in 1901 LOL

I have found this interesting one ...

you said that June Richardson married Thomas Ramshaw ....

marriage;
Thomas Holland = Mary Ramshaw
sept q 1913
Spouse's Surname: Ramshaw
South Shields  Durham, Tyne and Wear
10a   1477

is this maybe Uncle Tom?

will look further
