« on: Saturday 04 October 08 12:12 BST (UK) »
Can someone have a look for Richard Scaysbrook and his family in the 1841 and 1851 census. He was born 1805 Sth Newington, Oxfordshire and was married to Mary Mobley. They may have been living at 13 Howard's Green, St Luke's Middlesex.
Thanks
Shauna

Hi Shauna,

The 1841 census (HO107/667/4 Folio 16 Page 22)
The address looks like "Howards Green, Finsbury"
Shows a Richard Scaybrook 35  Sawyer, not born in county
Mary Scaybrook 35
Lucy 9
Rosanna 7
Ann 5
John 2
Only John was born in Middlesex.

Also living in the house were a Samuel and Mary Bolton and their son James aged 9 months.

Hope it helps,
Yorkslass

Thanks Yorkslass,  :)
That definately looks like it could be them. Hopefully they can be found in 1851 to confirm some details.

Thanks Sue for the dates they will definately come in handy when I put the tree together.  :)

Cheers

Thanks Cicely,
Your information is much appreciated and confirms I have the right family. How sad that so many children died. The second Elizabeth must have died as well as she wasn't on the 41 census. It is a shame that the 1851 census cannot be found to see if they had more children.
Thanks again
Kind regards
Shauna
