sorry just seen the other post, thanks, your right the relegion dosent match, but the original grave document  john capper bought in 1897 has the address 58 penrith street (largley protestant area), when i checked the 1901 census for that address the weatherall family lived there who were born in armagh and methodist 3 of the children have the same cristian names as my cappers, possibly cousins? or i'm clutching at straws. and street directories have him living in the falls road area from 1903 on. appreciate any other help

Mary Cappa died in 1899 (LDS Civil Index) and her burial details are on

According to civil index she was born in 1867.
I think it is worth a look at the marriage in Armagh Ancestry.

Hello

I have a Joseph Capper, born Nov 1825 inWaringstown, Donaghacloney, Down, Ireland
His father was Matthew Capper (1777 – 1851), and his brother John Capper, was a Wesleyan Methodist minister. So this line of the Capper family was Methodist / protestant which may be why you are seeing the Lurgan Methodist connection in some marriages mentioned in this thread. If you would like more info on the family, let me know (I can put in touch with a descendant of Rev John Capper)

I read your post about the Rev John Capper, son of Mathew Capper/Catherine Carey.
I have reason to believe that John had a brother named Thomas, Born Waringstown in about 1825 or so. Any idea about how I could get hold of John Capper's decendant, in the hope of some much needed information?
Any help would be appreciated please,

Hi,
Is there anyone here who might have information about the Cappers from Waringstown, Ireland? I am trying to find out what happened to Thomas Capper b abt. 1823 in Waringstown, son of Mathew Capper and Catherine Carey.  I think he may have emigrated to South Africa in the 1840's, and was a tailor most of his life, but anything to point me in the right direction would be most appreciated please? Are there any other descendants of this Capper couple I may be able to contact?
All help will be gratefully received please, and sorry for the disturbance if I am barking up the wrong tree!!
