There is a Louis married to a Harriet in 1901 in ...hmmm...where was it? Suffolk I think (sorry didnt write it down and have been off doingsomething else!) but they were a much older couple, in their 50's or so in 1901, so it is possible this Louis marriage is not your one at all, but an older couple marrying. Wont know without the cert.

I havent found any of your lot from 1881 in 1891 or 1901 so maybe they all went back to Germany. Do yuo have any further evidence of thefamily still being here after 1881?

Eliza Jan/Feb/Mar 1884 Islington
Louis Frederick W A/M/Jun 1897 Islington, as I gave you before.

And here they are, I am pretty sure, in 1891, and guess who the boarder looks like! !

Hi,

What do you think of this family in 1901?
Transcribed at Anc... as LINN.

1901  RG13/1250  f.53  p.2  Tottenham
12 Bruce Grove Road

Louis ZINN    Head    M    29    Gold and Silver Smith    London Hoxton
Louie            Wife    M    26                                       "  "      "  "
Louis              Son    S     3                                       "  "    Stoke Newington
Albert             Son    S     7months                            Middlesex Tottenham

I wonder if Louie was supposed to be Lucy :-\ as in Harriet Lucy MCFARLANE :-\

Tottenham was in the Edmonton registration district, I found these births,

Louis Frederick ZINN    Mar Q 1898    Edmonton    3a  353

Albert Edward ZINN    Dec Q 1900    Edmonton    3a  379

That looks good - esp with the "silver" connection in his employment!

Hi,

You are looking at my family tree.

Louis Frederick born 1897 was my Grandfather

The name Louis Frederick goes back at least three generations to my Great Great Grandfather.

Harriet Lucy Mcfarlane was my Great Grandmothers maiden name

Hello Littlehammer

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

Thank you for making contact on this topic.

I'm surprised Finch hasn't replied yet, maybe they didn't get the notification or this isn't their direct family.

This post should send another notification, let's see what happens next.
