porter family

hi i am looking for the porter family they lived in lympsham Somerset i know that the father was job porter and was a shoe maker mother was Elizabeth i think they had a daughter temperance born 1831 but i cant seem to find her or her family after 1871 i think temperance was living with her stepdad in 1851 in lympsham but not sure would love to hear from anyone who could help me

Help me out here. You said you could not fnd Temperance or her family after 1871. Then Joe gave a marriage in 1854 and you then said you were looking "before that". We would all love to help but what exactly are you looking for? It is better you give the information you really have and then say what you are looking for, exactly. Are you OK with that? :)

hi hackstaple sorry i did not make myself clear i am looking for the porter family before 1871 have all info on temperance after 1871 but not before looking for all her family before 1871 once again i am sorry i did not make myself clear new to this

Hi Julie unfortunately Temperence is the only Porter in the Village in 1851 census

The only Job Porter I can C is in Weston...He lists as 55 married b Trowbridge a Butler....no wife is present
