Hi,
Should have said Isabel Anderson was BORN in 1765 at Cleish and John Burt was born in Cleish too in 1761.  Not sure of the date of their marriage.
Linda

Hello all, I am new to chat, and the Burts of Dunfermline are my primary interest.

I do have a number of births transcribed from parish records, 1655-1811.
I also have some of the genealogy that my 3rd ggf worked on while visiting his family in Dunfermline.

I KNOW the name Arminta Wright is in one or both sets of records.  I need to catch upon the other thread mentioned, and then I will start looking through the records I have and see what I can come up with.

In the meantime, I am happy to meet other Burt family members.

I have some information on John Burt and Isabell Anderson. John is my grgrgr grandfather. I believe he was the son on John Burt (abt 1743) and Mary Drummond.  That's about as far back as I've been able to trace them.
