Hi there,
I'm researching my great grandparents John Kirvell and Harriet Spencer from Southampton.....They emigrated to Canada along with three of their children (Ann Georgina, Emma & John) around 1908 on the "Corsican".

Would really appreciate receiving any information that will assist me with my research, and I am willing to share information that I've compiled to date about the family since coming to Canada.

I have found a family I think may be yours on the 1901 Census for Hampshire, here are the details (the names match)

In 1881 John Kirvell( listed as KERBOL) is a lodger in Winchester and a Bricklayers labourer aged 38. In th esame house is a SARAH KERBOL aged 80 a Pauper b Winchester, I wonder if she could be his mother?
Can't locate Harriet yet on the 1881, but am still looking

Shows a picture of Black Farm farmhouse, a Jacobean farmhouse later divided into 4 labourers cottages.  Could be where your ancestors lived.
